Engineer: electrical/electronics, with 24 years career. Aged 47. Father of three:
a daughter at Ryerson University and two sons at Thorncliffe Park School, one son being a "special need" student aged 10.
Elected member of the school council last year 2002/2003. Never missed or skipped any school council meeting.
Suggested an e-bulletin for the school. Suggested and developed a web site for the school assisted by the ex-principal
and by the Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute. Invited TPH nurse "Kathie Dilworth" to the council to introduce the NDDS
child development screening tools. Member of Thorncliffe Park Tenants Association. Member of the ASO (Autism Society
of Ontario). Member of parent group research workshop on impact of autism on parents (research fostered by York University).
Member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). Member of two British cultural and professional societies.
